Who We Are
Our Story
Founded in 2007 by Mike Howells, JMD Deliveries began with just one small van and a commitment to providing a reliable, efficient and competitively priced transport service. Through hard work, dedication and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, Mike grew the business into the company it is today. Mike added vehicles to his fleet, and loyal drivers to his team, some of who are still with JMD to this day. He continued to gain customers through fantastic service, something which JMD and Mike became known for. Always going the extra mile for the customer to ensure needs were met.
Following the sad loss of Mike in 2016 after an illness, his son, Jamie Howells, took the reins of the business, continuing the legacy his father had worked so hard to build. Since then, Jamie has remained committed to upholding the values that JMD Deliveries has always been known for: reliability, efficiency, flexibility and a personal approach to customer service.
Today, JMD Deliveries specialises in dedicated transport solutions, offering same-day, next-day and tailored delivery services to meet the individual needs of our customers. We understand how important it is for goods to arrive safely and on time, which is why we pride ourselves on providing a dependable service our customers can trust.
Our greatest achievement is the long-standing relationships we have built over the years, with some customers having trusted us with their transport requirements for over 15 years. We believe this loyalty speaks volumes about the service we provide and the importance we place on every customer, every delivery and every commitment we make.
Although the business has grown considerably since its early days, our approach remains the same. We combine the personal values on which JMD Deliveries was founded with the experience, dedication and flexibility needed to meet the demands of modern transport.
At JMD Deliveries, we don't just move goods — we build relationships, keep promises and deliver peace of mind.
